Ingredients
- 1 LB Feta Cheese the big block; do not buy crumbled
- 2 cups Cherry Tomatoes I like the multi color ones
- 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
- 2 Garlic Cloves, Minced
- Sliced Baguette, or your favorite bread, for serving
- Fresh Basil, for garnish
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.
- Place your block of feta cheese in the center of a baking pan
- In a mixing bowl, add your whole cherry tomatoes, garlic, italian seasoning, olive oil and salt and pepper to taste. Mix well.
- Scatter your tomatoes around the feta cheese.
- Lightly drizzle a bit of olive oil on top of the feta cheese as well.
- Bake for 20 minutes.
- For a little bit of a more browned top, turn your broiler on and transfer the baking tray to the top rack. Broil until the feta turns golden brown on top and the tomatoes are wrinkled. About 3 minutes. Keep a close eye on it so that it does not burn.
- Serve with toasted baguette pieces, crackers, pita.. whatever works!
