About Me
Welcome to my cooking blog! I’m Alejandra and I’m so glad you stumbled upon my little collection of recipes.
I’ve been working in the catering and event industry for over 12 years so it’s safe to say I love being around food. I’ve always loved cooking and everyone knows it! Once I realized how frequently I was sharing recipes, I thought maybe I should start writing all this down to make it easier.
I’m going to be frank with you. This blog isn’t fancy. I’m not here to grant you a Michelin star. I’m not here to teach you how to make gnocchi from scratch. So what am I here to do? Provide you with some easier, healthier and more approachable every day recipes. If you’re like me, you are busy as can be. My days start at 6 am and end at 10 pm with little to no free time in between. My cooking is for the new moms, working professionals, entrepreneurs and basically anyone who is so busy and feels like they can’t find the time to cook fresh and healthy food. Trust me.. You can. And I’m here to show you how!
I have discovered in my cooking that the simpler I keep the recipes, the easier, healthier and faster it gets done. It’s been a series of trial and error to make sure I don’t sacrifice on flavor while trying to keep things so easy. I finally feel that I have reached that point. You don’t need to be a good cook to follow these recipes. I still don’t know how to properly chop, slice and dice. We’re all amateur chefs here just trying to survive one recipe at a time. While following my recipes, please try not to focus on perfection. That is the beauty of this blog. It will all work out and taste good no matter what shape you chopped your onions in.
So lets take this leap of faith together and get cookin!
