Apple Pie Baked Brie

Cinnamon Apple Baked Brie

Who doesn't love baked brie? Literally everyone loves a delicious wheel of gooey baked brie wrapped in pastry. So let's have some fun with it! This recipe is perfect for the Fall. It has hints of apple pie mixed with the creamy brie all in one. It's a party pleaser!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Sheet Puff Pastry
  • 1 Round of Brie
  • .5 Red Apple, Sliced Thinly
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup Apple or Pumpkin Butter I found this at Fresh Market
  • 1/4 cup Granulated Brown Sugar
  • 1 Egg, Whisked

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • With a large knife, cut off the top rind of the brie.
  • On a lined baking sheet, lay out the puff pastry or the crescent rolls flat. Place the Brie round on top of the dough.
  • In a small mixing bowl, combine the sliced apples with the cinnamon and toss well.
  • Add the sliced apples on top of the brie round.
  • Add your apple or pumpkin butter on top of the sliced apples. Spread well.
  • Cover the brie with the surrounding pastry puff.
  • Get your whipped egg and brush it over the pastry puff. Coat well.
  • Sprinkle the pastry with the brown sugar. Bake for 30 min. Serve with crackers.
