Easy No Bake Oreo Truffles
These truffles are basically a dream in every bite. If anyone out there claims to take credit for this recipe, just know they are lying. Oreo released this a million years ago and I never forgot it because it was so easy. They are so easy to make since there is no baking required! And don't worry about the dipping part. As you can see from my photo, they dont need to be smooth and perfect. Because even the most beautiful things in life have imperfections. Like me. HAHA Ok enjoy!
Ingredients
- 1 Package of regular Oreo's
- 8 oz Cream Cheese Softened
- 12 oz Melting Chocolate Do not use regular chocolate chips as this wont work. You have to use candy melts also known as wafers.
Instructions
- Using a food processor, combine all the Oreos until they are finely crushed
- Using a spatula, mix in the softened cream cheese. It might take a little but just keep mixing slowly
- Using a spoon, scoop out about 1 tbs or whatever size truffle you desire and shape into a ball. Set on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or foil. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to harden.
- Using a spoon, dip your balls into the melted chocolate. If you want to speed up the hardening process, refrigerate until firm(about 1 hour)
