Halloween Witch Hat Cookies

These cookies are part of a Halloween cookie series which includes 3 easy to make recipes that are perfect for the kiddos!
These little witch hats are almost too cute to eat. I personally wanted to use chocolate as my little layer of glue under the Hershey kiss but if you want to simplify your life(and save some cleaning), I recommend using the little tubes of decorating icing that come ready to be piped.
For sprinkles, you want to avoid regular sanding sugar. Go for the bigger shaped options since you will need to press them into the icing.

Ingredients

  • 1 package Keebler Fudge Strip Cookies
  • 10 oz Melting Milk Chocolate Wafers OR (2) 7 oz bags of Cookie Icing in orange or purple
  • Halloween Sprinkles
  • 24 Hershey Kisses

Instructions

  • Unwrap your Hershey kisses
  • If using melting chocolate, add your wafers to a microwave safe dish and microwave for 3 seconds. Stir and microwave for another 30 seconds.
  • Flip over one striped cookie and pipe either chocolate or cookie icing around the center of the cookie.
  • Gently press a Hershey's kiss on top of the chocolate/icing.
  • Carefully add your Halloween sprinkles on top of the exposed chocolate/icing. Press the sprinkles lightly into the chocolate so it sticks. Once you're done, tip the cookies a bit to remove excess sprinkles.
