Easy M&M Cookie Bars
Only 3 ingredients are needed to make these delicious cookie bars! This recipe uses pre made cookie dough to speed up the process if you are short on time! Who doesn’t love the combo of cookies and M&Ms?! So good!
Easy M&M Cookie Bars
I have to admit this recipe, like many of my desserts, was inspired by my nieces. Kids love M&Ms! And who wants to spend all this time doing something from scratch for kids who don't even know the difference? Use pre made cookie dough as a quick and easy short cut! It's just as delicious. The combination of chocolate chip cookie dough and M&Ms is always a winner. Let's get baking my friends!
Ingredients
- 2 Packages of Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
- 1/2 cup M&Ms
- 1 cup Semi Sweet Melting Chocolate Wafers(Candy Melts)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350
- Spray a 9x9 pan with non stick butter spray. Spread one package of cookie dough evenly into the pan.
- Sprinkle the M&Ms evenly on top of the cookie dough
- Spread second layer of cookie dough on top of the M&Ms
- Cover with foil and bake for 20 min at 350 degrees. Uncover the foil and bake for another 10 min. Let cool down.
- Melt your chocolate wafers and spread evenly over cookie pie. Allow pie to harden. If you want to speed up the process, put them in the fridge for 1 hour.
- Once the chocolate is hard, flip the pie out of the pan and cut into squares.
