Dessert

While it should be noted that 90% of my recipes are healthy, there is one place that I have a rule against healthy takes on things and that would be the almighty dessert(am I right sis?) Why you might ask? Because sugar is sugar. It doesn’t make a difference if you are using regular sugar versus 15 dates. 

Here’s the thing: dessert isn’t meant to be consumed every day. So if you live your life by the 80/20 rule (80% healthy, 20% flexible) you can have dessert. Keep your weekly meals lean, maintain an active lifestyle and reward yourself once a week.

Desserts are meant to be decadent. They’re supposed to put a smile on your face. Stevia just doesn’t do that.
