Skinny 30 minute Chicken Parmesan (Gluten Free!)
This delicious recipe gets its flavor from making a fresh seasoning! Add in some protein pasta and you’ve got yourself a protein packed meal.
Skinny Chicken Parmesan (Gluten free too!)
This delicious chicken parm is kept light by omitting eggs, breading and heavy cheese. We keep it light but flavorful. What's the secret? The fresh seasoning. You have to use fresh seasoning in order to achieve a delicious result for this one.
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs Chicken Cutlets the thin ones
- 1/4 cup Fresh Parmesan
- 6 oz Fresh Mozzarella
- 1 jar Favorite Red Sauce I like Italian style marinara
Seasoning
- 1.5 tsp Fresh Rosemary
- 1.5 tsp Fresh Thyme
- 1.5 tsp Fresh Parsley
- 1 tsp Garlic, minced
- 2 tbs Olive Oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425
- Make your seasoning by combining all ingredients together and mixing well
- Pat your chicken dry and brush seasoning on both sides of chicken. Coat well. If you need a little more olive oil you can add it.
- Add half the jar of red sauce to a baking dish
- Place your chicken on top of the sauce
- Add the rest of the sauce on top of the chicken. Spread it evenly to cover all parts of the chicken.
- Bake for 20 minutes (if chicken is thin cut)
- Remove chicken. Sprinkle the fresh parmesan on top. Add sliced mozzarella. Cover with foil and bake for another 10 minutes.
