Slow Cooker Korean Flank Steak
If you love bulgogi, you're gonna love this recipe. Bulgogi is popular for a reason-that combination of sweet with savory is to die for. I often think about this recipe and get the urge to make it over and over again because it's so good. Maybe that means it's one of my favorites?!
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs Flank Steak
- 1 White Onion, Sliced
- Sliced Green Onion For Garnish
- Sesame Seeds For Garnish
- Salt & Pepper To Taste I dont use any since there is soy sauce but I like minimal salt so I would wait until its done cooking and then add it to taste
Sauce
- 1/4 cup Coconut Aminos or soy sauce or tamari
- 1/4 cup Rice Wine Vinegar
- 1 tbs Brown Sugar
- 1/2 Korean Pear Or Honeycrisp Apple, Grated
- 1 tbsp Sesame Oil
- 2 Garlic Cloves, Minced
- 1 tbsp Gochujang red chili paste
Instructions
- First, make your sauce. Combine all ingredients into a small bowl and mix well.
- Next, Place your white onion slices into the slow cooker. Place the flank steak on top of the onion.
- Pour your sauce on top of the meat. Cook on low for 8 hours.
- Once it's done cooking, shred lightly. Garnish with green onion and sesame seeds
