Zesty Pork Tenderloin
This pork tenderloin is tangy and delicious! It's a fun way to spice things up because it really is a unique flavor combination. I also love pork tenderloin because it truly does have so much more flavor than chicken or turkey but it's just as lean. But if you don't eat pork, you can absolutely use this recipe on any meat! One important thing to note is I really feel you can only make this properly with McCormick steak seasoning. It's one of my favorite seasonings and it gives this the perfect kick I was looking for. It's a more peppery garlic type of rub so it has a punch to it!
Ingredients
- 2 lbs Pork Tenderloin
- 1 tbsp McCormick Steak Seasoning
- 2 tbsp Lime Juice
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1/4 cup Fresh Chopped Cilantro
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 f
- Make sure to trim all fat off your pork tenderloin. Grab a paper towel and pat the loin dry.
- In a small mixing bowl, add steak seasoning, paprika, lime juice, olive oil and cilantro. Mix well.
- Optional but strongly recommended if you have the time: Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil on a pan over medium high heat and brown the pork tenderloin about 3 min per side.
- Remove pork from pan and place onto a baking sheet or oven dish. Cook for 20-25 minutes.
- IF YOU BROWNED YOUR PORK: While the pork is cooking, add a little bit of broth or water while the pan is still hot and deglaze the marinade. Let it heat up a bit and then remove from heat.
- Once your pork is done baking, remove from oven and add the browned sauce on top. Slice and serve
