6 Minute Bistec de Palomilla Steaks

Bistic de palomilla is a Cuban dish consisting of very thin cut sirloin meat pan seared in a flavorful marinade. A traditional dish is cooked with a lot of onions, mojo marinade and a whole lot of oil. This version is made with seared tomatoes to give it a lighter feel.
The best thing about cooking a palomilla steak is that each side only takes 3 minutes since it's so thin! This meal is great if you are low on time or energy but want something yummy 🙂

  • Add plenty of non stick spray to your pan on medium high heat. Add your steak (do not crowd the pan) and let it sear for 3 minutes. Do not touch the steak!
