I use this recipe as a side dish for a lot of my meals. This pairs well with so many things. You can literally make grilled chicken, steak, pork tenderloin.. anything! You can't go wrong with this pasta. It's easy to make. requires minimal ingredients and it's delicious! This is meant to be a side dish so it's nice and light. It's not a super creamy pasta for that reason. It's not heavy enough to be a main course but it has enough delicious flavor you'll want more and more! Enjoy!
Fill a large pot with water, bring to a boil and add your pasta. Cook until al dente about 8 minutes. When done, drain the pasta BUT reserve 1 cup of pasta water and set aside.
In a pan over medium heat, add your olive oil and garlic. Let it cook for 1 minute. Add your butter, lemon juice, oregano, basil and salt. Stir for 1-2 minutes and add your pasta. Toss well until fully mixed. Add a little pasta water if its looking too dry.
